History of the Practice
Dr. S Ward Casscells, one of the pioneers of arthroscopic surgery, founded the practice in 1949. Dr. Christopher Casscells joined his father in 1986, bringing with him an expertise in joint replacement from Yale University. In 1998, Dr. David Solacoff, also the son of a physician, joined the practice from Johns Hopkins University.
